Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs provides a wide range of historical, demographic, geographic, political and other information relating to Israel.
Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) provides translations of Arabic, Persian, Turkish, Urdu-Pashtu media, as well as original analysis of diverse trends in the Middle East.
International Institute for Counter-Terrorism includes a variety of scholarly research on terrorism in the Middle East and beyond.
Jewish Virtual Library provides a wide range of information relating to Israel.
Justice for Jews from Arab Countries provides information on Jewish refugees from Arab countries.
Bitterlemons presents Israeli and Palestinian viewpoints on prominent issues of concern, specifically the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and peace process.
Judaism and Jewish History
Jewish Virtual Library provides a wide range of information on Jewish history and Judaism.
My Jewish Learning provides information on Jewish lifecycle events, beliefs, holidays, culture, texts, and more.
Martin Gilbert Jewish History in maps documents Jewish life around the world from Biblical times to the present.
Holocaust and Genocide
United States Holocaust Memorial Museum includes a large number of resources including guidelines for teaching about the Holocaust, historical summaries, lesson plans, online exhibitions, and searchable databases of photographs.
Yad Vashem is Israel’s official memorial to the Holocaust. In addition to materials from its museum, the Yad VaShem website has digital archives, academic publications, and E-learning resources.
Martin Gilbert Holocaust Maps depict the history of the Holocaust including mass murders, concentration camps, deportations, and more.
A Teacher’s Guide to the Holocaust was produced by the Florida Center for Instructional Technology in the College of Education at the University of South Florida. It provides teacher resources and student activities.
The Holocaust and Genocide: The Betrayal of Humanity is an extensive curriculum guide for grades 9-12 that was developed by the New Jersey Commission on Holocaust Education. It consists of 7 thematically organized units, each of which contains a variety of readings and student activities. The Commission’s curriculum pagehas part two of the guide as well as guides for other grade levels and guides that address` other genocides.
